This fantastic WordPress plugin allows you to show a scrolling live rates bar anywhere on your website! You could put it in a post, page or in a text widget. You use a shortcode (WordPress Shortcode API) to place it where you need it to go and all the options needed are in the shortcode itself. See below for an example of what the bar looks like and underneath that the code needed to place it:

Install

This WordPress plugin is very easy to install, simply download the file from above to get started. Next go to your Plugins section in your WordPress Admin and click the Add Newbutton. Then next to search at the top of the screen your should see an Upload link, click this to go to the plugin upload screen. From here you need to go to the location of the .ZIP file you downloaded from this page that is stored on your computer and upload it to your site. Once that is done, you need to press install, this will then put everything where it needs to go and take you back to the Plugin overview page.

Shortcode Options

So you want to place it on a page and set what appears and how wide it should be? Easy. For a basic 500 pixel wide white background bar displaying the most popular prices write it like:

If you want to change the width then add the width tag:

Say you want the background to be blue then add a style (default is white):

The last option is for the type of prices to show (default is MostpPopular):

For categories you can choose:

• Forex – Will show the most active Forex prices live
• Commodities – Shows the most active metals and commodities
• Stocks – Displays the most active stocks and shares with prices
• Indices – Shows the most popular Indices
• ETFs – Will display the most popular ETFs
