This is another WordPress short-code plugin by chooky.co.uk. We have created a fantastic way for you to display a stock chart (courtesy of Yahoo Finance) pop-up that can be used with text or images. All you have to do is put the short-code before and after what it is that you want to trigger the pop up. For an example, check out the following code.

Install

This WordPress plugin is very easy to install, simply download the file from above to get started. Next go to your Plugins section in your WordPress Admin and click the Add Newbutton. Then next to search at the top of the screen your should see an Upload link, click this to go to the plugin upload screen. From here you need to go to the location of the .ZIP file you downloaded from this page that is stored on your computer and upload it to your site. Once that is done, you need to press install, this will then put everything where it needs to go and take you back to the Plugin overview page.

Shortcode Options

The simplest way of using this short-code plugin is to simply write a company name in your post/page and then put the tags around it. Don’t forget to tell the Plugin what company to get the stock chart for by adding the symbol tag. See the next example for a simple way of showing BP and giving it a roll-over stock chart.

Now when you hover over BP you will get a small 5 day stock chart for the BP stock. Default is 1 day chart.
